Davon“P-2” Anderson was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Although he grew up in the church, he soon found himself in a world without direction. Blindly Davon searched for fulfillment and gratification in women, alcohol, and hip hop music. Davon’s unknowingly self-gratifications aroused from a void within his heart that needed to be filled with God’s love.

During Davon’s teenage years, he was arrested and incarcerated for a brief period of time. During his time of incarceration, he realized the need to make life changes or potentially face the reality of spending life in prison. Davon decided to make lifelong changes that would produce positive benefits for himself and those around him. Davon, realized that this change was more challenging than expected, due to struggling with the “right” way to live and love God.
After searching on his own for the “right” way to live for God, God guided his path to the life of Darryl “Skip” Ramsey Jr.. Darryl exemplified a walk with God that was unrecognizable amongst others he’d encountered, and one that he had been searching for. Through personal and public time of discipleship, mentoring and encouragement, this man became a father, a brother, and a best friend. Through Gods direction he began to build a foundation in Davon that would become incorruptible. As a spiritual leader Darryl had recognized the likeness in character and experience’s that Davon and the Apostle Peter shared, and therefore began to call Davon, Peter.
During this time of transformation, Davon was graced with the opportunity to rap in local churches around his hometown. The songs that were written were good songs with good lyrics, but they were found to be missing something. The songs were orchestrated to engage the audience in embracing it’s sound and captivating lyrics, but lacked the approval of God for his son Davon. Davon answered to the call of God to share the “Gospel” through music but to do it His way. From that moment on; God blessed Davon to travel around the country ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ. Upon receiving God’s calling, Davon embraced the stage name P-2 (Peter, Jr.) and set his eyes on the throne and has been on a mission ever since to share, live and embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Davon has also opened up his on record label “Give It All Records”, where he produces music for various artists around the world. Davon (P-2) continues to strongly embrace God’s call upon his life and therefore lives by his personal motto, “If God’s in need, will He be able to call on you?”
